Polyplus

Long-term collaboration with Polyplus-transfection for the creation of scientific diagrams, followed by a complete redesign of the graphic identity and its application across all communication materials.

Tasks Performed

  • Translate complex scientific concepts into educational diagrams.
  • Design and adapt a complete graphic identity.
  • Produce all company communication materials.

The Project

As a freelancer, I collaborated for nearly 4 years with Polyplus-transfection, a biotechnology company specializing in polymer-based transfection solutions, intended for research and therapeutic applications.

My work involved translating complex scientific concepts into clear, educational visuals, while building a consistent and recognizable brand image. The brand identity was then applied to a wide range of materials: brochures, flyers, motion-design videos, trade show booths, packaging, and communication tools.

Over time, and due to client satisfaction, my assignments expanded to include increasingly varied graphic design projects. As part of an effort to reposition and modernize the brand image, I was tasked with designing a new visual identity that reflected the company’s scientific, innovative, and international values.

This new visual identity was then applied across all communication materials, including:

  • Scientific flyers and brochures

  • Product packaging

  • Stands and roll-ups for international trade shows

  • Presentation materials (slides)

  • Technical diagrams and scientific illustrations

This long-term collaboration also allowed me to develop a solid understanding of their technologies and scientific challenges. This knowledge facilitated communication with their teams and enabled me to transform complex information into simpler, more readable, and visually clean materials, without compromising scientific accuracy.

Projects for Polyplus

Creation of an animation to explain how transfection works.

Creation of an educational animation video for Polyplus-transfection, aiming to simplify the complex mechanisms of cell transfection for a scientific audience. From storyboard conception to animation in After Effects and editing in Premiere Pro, I managed the entire production, ensuring the clarity and scientific accuracy of the content. Published on YouTube, the video has exceeded 70,000 views, illustrating the effectiveness of the scientific communication approach.
