Makgi

“Markgi's Time Adventures” is an animated video I created during my training as a graphic designer.

Tasks Performed

  • Hand-drawn sketches of models and landscapes
  • Vectorizing Characters and Landscapes in Illustrator
  • Creation of the the animation in After Effects
  • Editiion in Premiere Pro

The Project

For this video, I handled the entire creative and technical process, from concept to final edit. After creating the illustrations by hand, I scanned and imported the drawings into Adobe Illustrator to prepare the graphic assets for animation. This step allowed me to preserve the traditional aesthetic while ensuring a clean, polished result suitable for motion design.

Based on these elements, I then developed the storyboard, which served as the foundation for the visual narrative, ensuring a clear direction before the animation work began. Once the storyboard was approved, I animated all the elements in After Effects, bringing the drawings to life and creating smooth transitions, organic movements, and a visual dynamic consistent with the video’s mood.

Finally, I completed the final edit in Adobe Premiere Pro, integrating the animated sequences, adjusting the timing, and adding any sound effects or audio tracks needed to create a complete experience. This project demonstrates my ability to combine traditional drawing techniques, visual storytelling, and advanced animation and editing skills to produce original and engaging video content.
