Redesign of the Art et Carton showcase website, featuring an artist who specializes in sculpture and objects made from recycled cardboard. The design highlights the creativity and originality of the artwork, as well as the services offered (workshops, events, commissions), through a clear and immersive layout.
For the Art et Carton project, I redesigned an artist portfolio website in order to faithfully reflect her creative vision while positioning her more clearly as an artist— artisanal and socially engaged. My goal was to design an interface that highlights the craftsmanship, the uniqueness of her works, and the use of recycled cardboard as a raw material, all while offering a simple and enjoyable browsing experience.
I worked on the site’s overall structure to tell the artist’s story, showcase her career, and make it easy to explore her work. Special attention was paid to the layout of the galleries to provide an immersive experience and give the visuals center stage. The choice of colors, typefaces, and spacing was carefully considered to remain consistent with the studio’s natural and authentic atmosphere.
The entire website was designed to be responsive and accessible on all devices. This project allowed me to combine my skills in web design and graphic design to create a website that showcases the artist’s work in a thoughtful and professional way, while making it easy for visitors to get in touch and learn about the services the artist offers.
